As the Vice President & Executive Sponsor of the Burns & McDonnell Orlando Office with over 30 years of experience, Rich is responsible for developing strategic business plans to provide Florida clients with full-service high-quality engineering solutions to meet their existing and future needs. He has been leading the Orlando team
of engineers, construction professionals and consulting specialists for the past 5 years upon his return as CEO and Director of Burns & McDonnell’s India office.
Rich began his career at Burns & McDonnell in the Energy division in 1989 as an Electrical Engineer, immediately working on-site for energy, process and industrial industries building coal and gas-fired generating facilities.

In 1994, he continued his electrical engineering work specializing in electrical equipment upgrade projects for
several key clients in the power generation industry.
In 2001, Rich became the Application Department Manager where he led engineers in electrical system analysis
and equipment specifications for power generation clients building new combined-cycle facilities.
He became the Electrical & Controls Department Manager in 2007, providing electrical conceptual design and
estimating to support major EPC power generation projects.
Six years later, as CEO and Director of the Burns & McDonnell India office in Mumbai, Rich led his team in
providing an array of engineering services in the process and industrial, power generation, chemical, oil and gas
industries.
